Simply put, this is one of the most exciting ministries at First Presbyterian. In the summer of 2008, the congregation decided to plant a garden where all the produce would go to the Lincoln/Logan Food Pantry. That summer, over 30 people spent evenings and afternoons planting, digging, cultivating and harvesting in an effort to bring free, fresh produce to the people of this community. This ministry is a perfect example of our mission to serve the people of our community in the name of Jesus Christ. The garden is active from May-September and the food is available to anyone in need.
